Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? I can help!

What is a QR memory page?

A QR memory page is a digital tribute that allows visitors to scan a QR code (placed on a headstone, plaque, funeral program or memorial item) to view a personalised online memorial page dedicated to a loved one.

How does it work?

After I create your memory page, I generate a unique QR code, this code is delivered electronically which can be shared online or on printed material, a QR code aluminum card is also provided for placing on a memorial headstone, special place or as a keepsake. When someone scans it using a smartphone, they’re taken directly to the personalised memorial page.

How much does it cost?

Please visit our pricing page or contact us for more details. Pricing is a one time fee that includes initial setup of your memory page and 3 years of hosting, after this time period there is a small yearly hosting fee.

Who can view the memory page?

You can choose whether your Memory page is public or private. Private pages can be password-protected.

Can I create a memory page for someone who passed away a long time ago?

Yes, QR code memorials can be created for loved ones regardless of when they passed. Many families use this service to modernize or enhance older memorials.

Can I update the memorial page after it’s created?

Absolutely. You can update or add content by reaching out via email. Please email for a quote depending on the changes required.

How many photos can I include?

Up to 60 images can be shared on your memory page. For additional images, I recommend preparing a slideshow and uploading it to platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo to showcase these. Your uploaded photos are optimized for optimal viewing and loading performance, a maximum of 60 images ensures efficient load times.

How do I include video?

Videos are not hosted on the website and must be created and supplied by you via a third-party platform so that it can be embedded into your memory page – for example You tube or Vimeo.

Who can place a QR code on a gravesite?

You must hold the right of interment to be able to place the QR code on a headstone.

A right of interment relates to a specific place of interment within a public cemetery – for example, a plot, grave, crypt or cremation niche. When you purchase a right of interment, you purchase the right to determine who can be interred in the place of interment and the type of memorial, if any, to be established (subject to cemetery trust memorialisation policies and specifications). For more info click here.

How long does it take to set up?

The digital memory page can usually be ready within 5-7 business days providing you have everything ready to hand over on your end. Physical QR codes may take additional time for production and shipping, Digital copies of your QR code can be provided within 1-2 business days.

What can be included on the memory page?

The page can include photos, a biography, life milestones, family tree, obituary and eulogy. You can customise it to reflect your loved one’s life and legacy. All information is optional, so feel free to include as much or as little as you’d like.

What happens if the QR code stops working?

We offer support and replacement services. If your QR code ever becomes damaged or unreadable, we can provide a replacement free of charge (the faulty aluminum card will need to be returned)

Is the QR code weatherproof and durable?

Yes. The QR codes are made from high-quality, weather-resistant anodized aluminum suitable for outdoor use. The anodizing process creates a robust, corrosion-resistant surface that withstands daily wear and tear, ensuring the card maintains its appearance over time. They are highly resistant to scratches, fading, and moisture, making them ideal for long-term outdoor use or in environments exposed to harsh weather conditions. Their sleek, modern aesthetic combined with resilience ensures they remains easy to scan for decades to come.

Can I transfer ownership of the page in the future?

Yes. I allow ownership transfers so another family member or loved one can manage the memorial if needed.

Is internet access required to view the memorial page?

Yes, visitors need a smartphone or device with internet access to scan the QR code and view the digital tribute.

What if I need help during the process?

I’m here to guide you every step of the way; from creating the page to installing the QR code.
