Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using my website and services. By accessing or using my website, creating a memorial, or scanning a QR code linked to our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
QR Memory Sunraysia offers custom QR codes that link to digital memorial pages, which are created and hosted on behalf of the client. I aim to provide a respectful, full-service experience for families and individuals memorializing loved ones.
2. Use of Content
By submitting content (photos, text, videos, etc.), you confirm that:
- You have the legal right and permission to share it
- The content is respectful and appropriate
- It does not infringe on copyright or the rights of others
Image Hosting and Uploads
Maximum Capacity – No more than 60 images may be uploaded to any individual QR Memory page.
Video Hosting and Uploads
Videos associated with our services are not hosted on the QR Memory Sunraysia website and must be supplied by the client. All video files must be uploaded and stored through a third-party platform selected by the user. QR Memory Sunraysia provides only the QR code and linking service and does not store, stream, or back up any video content. By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Third-Party Responsibility – You are solely responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing any third-party account required to host your video.
- No Direct Uploads – Video files cannot be uploaded directly to the QR Memory Sunraysia website or servers.
- Availability & Performance – QR Memory Sunraysia is not liable for the availability, performance, or security of any third-party platform used to host your video.
- Compliance – You are responsible for ensuring that your video content and chosen hosting service comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and the hosting provider’s terms of use.
QR Memory Sunraysia reserves the right to refuse or remove content that is offensive, harmful, or violates our guidelines.
3. Payment & Fees
- A one-time payment of $295 includes setup, hosting, and support for 3 years.
- After 3 years, you can pay an additional $29.95 per year for a hosting fee to keep the memorial page active beyond the initial 3 years.
- You may choose to discontinue your service at any time. In such cases, the page will be taken offline.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Because each memorial is custom-created, refunds are not offered once a project has begun. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact [email protected] to provide the opportunity to make it right.
5. Privacy
QR Memory Sunraysia is committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is used and stored.
6. Availability & Maintenance
QR Memory Sunraysia does its best to ensure memorial pages are always available. However, cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to technical or maintenance issues. Users will be notified in advance of any planned outages where possible.
7. Rights of Interment
You must hold the right of interment to be able to place the QR code on a headstone.
A right of interment relates to a specific place of interment within a public cemetery – for example, a plot, grave, crypt or cremation niche. When you purchase a right of interment, you purchase the right to determine who can be interred in the place of interment and the type of memorial, if any, to be established (subject to cemetery trust memorialisation policies and specifications). 8. Changes to Terms
QR Memory Sunraysia may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of this service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
